The infineon IFX Supplier Award 2021 for Rudi Göbel – appreciation for outstanding teamwork during the flood disaster.
infineon is one of our longest-standing customers. We have been supporting the global market leader in semiconductor solutions as a supplier of power electronic components and systems since 1988. High requirements are combined with a consistent appreciation of quality and individual support here. Well-established processes and teams stand for this special “drive” that characterizes the decades of collaboration between Rudi Göbel and infineon.
In appreciation of our rapid response with support during the 2021 flood disaster, our company was presented with the IFX Supplier Award 2021 by infineon at PCIM Nuremberg in May this year. It was important for infineon to thank the entire Rudi Göbel team for ensuring the supply of materials as well as the required capacities. The flexibility in handling production slots or qualifications was highlighted, as was the good and close coordination with Tier 2 and infineon. This high level of reliability and responsiveness enabled infineon and its customers to maintain their production lines.
The IFX Supplier Award 2021 is the third award we have received from infineon. This is an award that is of great importance to us, especially in this year of pandemics, floods, disrupted supply chains and wars.

The trophy was presented on May 9, 2022, during the PCIM trade fair in Nuremberg at a dinner together. Even in the virtual everyday life during the pandemic, the support and good rapport between our project teams never fell short.
On behalf of the entire company, we would like to take this opportunity to thank infineon for this award and the valuable partnership. Of course, a big thank you also goes to our Rudi Göbel team in Helmbrechts as well as to the raw material suppliers involved, without whom cooperation at such a high level would be unimaginable.
